Welcome to the new Random Group web site. This is very much a work in progress and will continue to be developed over the next few months. This site is built using WordPress as its back end CMS approach and this is the solution we have now adopted as a standard for all web sites built for ourself and our clients.

Random Group was originally the holding company for Random Computing, Random Product Design and Random Technologies. With changes over time Random Group now provides the services formerly delivered by Random Computing. These services are focused on the design, supply, integration ongoing support and evolution of computing systems for our clients, with particular but not exclusive emphasis on the creative, technical and manufacturing arenas.

Random Design was formed out of Random Technologies and was bought out by Ian Dampney. Random Design continues to provide specialized design services to a select group of clients.

The model making and prototyping business of Random Technologies was bought out by Simon Watson and Adam Mullenger and now operates as Prototype Solutions Ltd based in Welwyn Garden City.

Random still involves its founding partners, whose aim has always been to provide the optimum solution to every project our clients bring to us.

We can only achieve this by consistently investing in our skills and the technology to support them, with the result that we have probably the most loyal client base of any company in our industry.

This consistent investment in excellence led us to adopt the description of Random as an expert partner
